Mail list and email tracking
From the first day that i started to use open source CMS systems such as joomla,wordpress etc, I feel easy in using wordpress and also its not complex as joomla in user view andin the developer view as well. Ever since i started to use wordpress, i'm impressed with the features and the plugins available in word press.I prefer to use wordpress to design websites as well. But few things that i expected to have are lacking in wordpress. Eventhough wordpress provides CMS feature and lots of plugins, Some major things that i'm looking for is not found yet in the plugins.
This is my idea...
When ever we post a article in the blog, we should be able to send those to the people who are subcribed for those categories (the category of the posted article) from the wordpress admin area. Thesedays mail list is one of the most important thing in all websites of the companies to increase their revenue and well as to advertise their products. Therefore when we use wordpress to create a website, this feature is mostly expected by all the developers and the webmasters as well.
Also another important feature with this system is that, the administrator can check how many users have viewed the email that was send each time. And also able to view who are the users viewed the emails and in which dates as well. The main important thing is that the subscribers do not have to click on anything in the email, just once they open the email the system will update that. By using this facility administrator can be able to manage his maillist effectively by removing the users who are not viewing the emails for long time.
This system also helps the companies to use email marketing using this in the wordpress itself.
Once this feature is implemented in wordpress, there is no need of any extra web based solutions. Only wordpress is enough to do all the things that is necessary for all kinds of users.
Also this is not an impossible task, since i have already done a prototype for testing purpose and i have succeeded on that as well. I have done this system and i traced the open email details in my system as well. Its a standalone web based system, since I did this as a prototype. I'm now interested to implement this feature in wordpress as well.

Well its not currently added in the wp. But it was my suggestion to add some sort of new future which may let the users of wp to use it for multiple purpose.
What most people expect these days is to have a system which have the ability to work with different types of requirements.
